Methodology Behind Prayer Times and Zakat
The prayer times and imsakiye tools use standard methods computed from solar angles at your location, and for Turkey they align with the Diyanet calculation method. Make sure your city selection is correct; districts within the same province can differ by a few minutes.
The zakat calculator updates the nisab threshold automatically from the current gold price (the equivalent of 80.18 grams of gold): if your savings exceed nisab and a full lunar year has passed, zakat is calculated at 2.5 percent. The tool lets you enter gold, foreign currency, cash and receivables as separate items.
The Hijri-Gregorian-Rumi converter translates dates across all three calendars in both directions, useful for finding the Gregorian date of religious days or decoding Rumi dates in Ottoman documents. Since jurisprudential details vary by school, consult your local religious authority for special cases.
