Faith Tools
4 tools for prayer times, zakat, Ramadan timetable and the Hijri calendar.
Methodology Behind Prayer Times and Zakat
The prayer times and imsakiye tools use standard methods based on the sun's rising and setting angles at your location, and for Turkey they match the Diyanet calculation method. Make sure you pick the right city; districts in the same province can differ by a few minutes.
The zakat calculator updates the nisab threshold (the value of 80.18 grams of gold) automatically from the current gold price. If your savings exceed nisab and a full lunar year has passed, zakat is calculated at 2.5 percent. You can enter gold, foreign currency, cash and receivables as separate items.
The Hijri-Gregorian-Rumi converter converts dates between the three calendars in both directions. Use it to find the Gregorian date of religious days or to read Rumi dates in Ottoman documents. Jurisprudential details vary by school, so consult your local religious authority for special cases.
