CTR (Click-Through Rate) Calculator

Calculate your Click-Through Rate (CTR) to measure the performance of your ads and SEO titles. CTR improvement strategies and calculator.

This tool is for informational purposes only and does not replace professional marketing consultation.

The CTR (Click-Through Rate) calculator measures how engaging an ad or organic search result is. If nobody clicks despite thousands of impressions, the CTR value remains low — indicating a problem with targeting or creative.

CTR Formula and Calculation Example

CTR = (Total Clicks / Total Impressions) × 100

CTR is found by dividing the number of clicks by the number of impressions. For example, if an ad is shown 10,000 times and clicked 250 times, the CTR value will be 2.5%.

Why Is CTR a Critical Metric?

On platforms like both Google Ads and Facebook, high CTR is seen as proof of 'relevance'. Ads with high CTR receive a higher 'Quality Score', which helps reduce cost-per-click (CPC) and helps the ad appear in higher positions.

How to Increase CTR in SEO and Ads?

To increase CTR in SEO, meta titles and descriptions need to be made engaging. In ads, attention-grabbing visuals, curiosity-inducing copy, and clear call-to-action buttons like 'Buy Now' or 'Learn More' (CTA) push click-through rates up.
