Example Calculation
For a person born in Ankara on May 15, 1990 at 14:30; since Ankara is UTC+3, the system automatically converts the local time to UTC 11:30 and calculates the ecliptic longitude of the Moon at that moment. The result of this calculation gives the person a moon sign of Scorpio.
Calculation Method
The tool calculates the Moon's ecliptic longitude (via Julian Day Number) using formulas from Jean Meeus's Astronomical Algorithms. The standard UTC offset of the selected city is applied; daylight saving time is not included.
