Zodiac Compatibility Calculator
Pick two zodiac signs to see their love and relationship compatibility. The score is based on element, modality and traditional astrology rules.
Astrology is not a scientific discipline; this tool is for entertainment and personal exploration. A low compatibility score does not mean the relationship will fail.
What Is Zodiac Compatibility (Synastry)?
Zodiac compatibility means comparing two people's birth charts. In astrology this method is called Synastry. Besides the sun sign, it looks at elements, modality and planetary positions. This tool covers only the two sun signs and shows how compatible they are under traditional astrology rules.
Sun sign compatibility is a starting point. A more detailed analysis uses a full Synastry chart with the moon sign, rising sign and the Venus and Mars positions.
Love & Relationship Compatibility by Element
There are four elements in astrology: Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius), Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn), Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) and Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). Matching or complementary elements are considered highly compatible. The ranges below are the lowest and highest scores the tool gives for each element pair.

What Does Your Compatibility Score Mean?
75–100%: Excellent and Very Good Match
This range means the two signs support each other in terms of element, modality and traditional astrology. In astrological terms, these pairs understand each other easily and share a strong attraction. The tool labels 88% and above as Excellent Match and 75–87% as Very Good Match. Signs of the same element (two of the same sign score 85%) and most complementary element pairs (Water+Earth, Fire+Air) fall into this group.
60–74%: Moderate Match
In this range, attraction and tension sit side by side. The two people have different strengths, which can create strong attraction at first. With communication and flexibility, the relationship can mature over time. Most opposite signs fall in this group.
0–59%: Challenging Match and Different Frequencies
The tool labels 45–59% as Challenging Match and below 45% as Different Frequencies. Distant elements or conflicting modalities produce this score. Problems may come up more often, but in astrological terms these couples are the ones who learn the most from each other. A low score does not mean the relationship will end. Communication, shared values and mutual respect can make relationships in this range healthy and long-lasting too.
